One part of the complex is "La Maison du Meunier" or "The Miller's Cottage" referring to its original function is a spectacular gite in a country setting.
Le Moulin du Pré is an impressive country residence which has been lovingly restored with a swimming pool and all mod cons.
It has been split into three gites that can be rented separately or together for larger groups.
Out in the country, 25km from Tours and 15km from Loches, It boasts all the modern conveniences that one could ask for and more besides.
The exposed beams give it's interior a rustic charm and homely warmth, the tasteful decor and choice of furniture make it easy to feel comfortable, at home and relaxed.
On hot sunny days one can take advantage of the private swimming pool ( which has a covering that is safe to walk on, up to 100kg, for your security and peace of mind).
As you walk into the complex, you are immediately struck by a sense of quality and class. The traditional buildings have been restored to their full glory and you feel immediately relaxed and ready for a holiday.
To one side of the gite is the lake (fishing permit is supplied with the gite) no glorified pond this, with a surface area of 7 and a half acres it's easily big enough for the Carp, Perch and Pike to challenge the most experienced anglers.
The surrounding area is wooded, perfect for leisurely strolls in the shade of the sun. Alternatively you can sunbathe next to the pool or on the lawn.
What's more is that this gite is adaptable for functions, it has a large, split-level function room with sound system, video projector & screen, it can be used for dining or dancing (or both)
