Why not try this quaint, typical 18th century Touraine styled building. 3 two-bedroom gites in a renovated building, with a heated swimming pool. Gardens in the shade of large trees. 1 kilometer from the Chateau Chenonceau, this could be interpreted as a possibility to have larger groups spend a holiday together.
Each gite comprises of three rooms: a bright well-lit central living room with a fully equipped kitchenette. The decor is typical of the kind found in the region: comfortable and welcoming with an authentic atmosphere of really being in the Loire Valley, only a stones throw away from one of the most famous Chateaux, and only two or three away from a whole host of others. Each individual gite has a surface area of 60m², so it affords you room to manoeuvre in comfort. |

LOCAL INFORMATION
The Chateau Chenonceau is within easy reach one or two kilometers at most, a fabulous edifice that projects into the Cher River, known as the "Castle of Six Ladies" for the succession of powerful French noblewomen that influenced the castle that today is still as beautiful as it was in the renaissance.
The village of Chisseux is a small, unspoilt agricultural community, you can buy your baguettes and stop off in one of the authentic village bars for a coffee or a small beer.
Just at the edge of the village you can find a craft shop that sells it's home-made liqueurs, of all flavours.
There is a direct railway line from Chisseaux to Tours Centre. |
